A once peaceful cul-de-sac is full of tension. Susanne Lee's German shepherd bullies the other dogs. Nancy and John Codeus' three high-energy huskies are impossible to control on walks. Eleanore Godfrey's spaniel/mastiff mix charges and snaps at other dogs when they cross her turf. Amanda and Chuck Parker's Labrador puppy has eaten most of their house. And Holly and Matthew Graczyk can't control their four dogs while on walks. Will Cesar be able to curb this Desperate Housedog drama?.

In this nearly perfect community in Moorpark, California, nine families have become friends. They great each other on the street, help each other out when someone is in need, and even throw legendary block parties. There’s just one problem keeping this neighborhood from reaching utopian status… it’s going to the dogs. Nancy and John Codeus have three high-energy huskies that are impossible to control on walks. Amanda and Chuck Parker’s Labrador puppy, Mia, has a penchant for chewing on everything in sight.
Eleanore Godfrey’s Spaniel/Mastiff mix Ginger charges and snaps at other dogs on her turf. With all of the other dogs roaming the cul-de-sac, Gayle Estrada fears walking her English Lab Deja Vue. Michelle Ridgeway’s daughter Kendall is terrified of all big dogs, especially Susanne Lee’s German Shepherds Dakota, Bai-Lee, and Nickyta, the latter of which has been pegged as the street’s biggest troublemaker. With nine families, fifteen dogs, and one street, Cesar readies himself to face one of his biggest challenges.
