Uggie and Cosmo Hit Hollywood
It’s the dog days of the awards season as Cosmo, the dog from Beginners, was thanked by his human costar Christopher Plummer when he accepted his Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor. And when “The Artist” won Best Picture at the Globes, Uggie, its canine lead, was onstage to help the cast and crew accept. There have been so many great cinematic and television dog performances that Dog News Daily is launching the first annual Golden Collar Awards. Nominations will be announced January 18th and awards will be handed out February 13th. Will Uggie and Cosmo make the cut? Who were your favorite on-screen dogs of 2011?
