Fall 5000 Super Adoption Event in Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Animal Alliance presents an unprecedented adoption campaign spanning 5 counties with a goal of finding forever homes for 5000 shelter animals in the month of November. The campaign kicks off November 4-6 with a weekend Super Adoption at all participating shelters featuring discounted adoption fees and giveaways to adopters, personal matchmakers and professional behavior trainers. Adoptathon Success!

The Millan Foundation is delighted to report that 620 adoptions took place at the 16th Annual Adoptathon at North Shore Animal Leagues’ shelter in Port Washington, NY. This was the second largest adoption since 1999. Nationwide adoption numbers have not yet been released. Read more

Announcing the 16th Annual Adoptathon

Cesar Millan and North Shore Animal League America have teamed up with over 2,000 animal shelters worldwide to present the 16th annual Pet Adoptathon, a global pet adoption event that has found loving homes for over 300,000 animals since its inception in 1995. Presented by Purina ONE, the Adoptathon will span Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2 and will support the Mutt-i-grees Movement, a program developed to change the way the world looks at mixed breed dogs.
