Bloat

Stomach expansion due to a build-up of gas or froth which cannot be expelled by belching or passage along the intestinal tract will lead to bloat. Bloat, or gastric dilatation, can occur rapidly and be fatal within hours of onset. Read more

Constipation

If the animal is still passing stool but it appears to be very firm-and the animal is otherwise healthy (i.e. normal eating and drinking habits)- add 1/4 teaspoon of fiber, such as canned pumpkin or bran to the animal's diet. Read more
