Heavenly Beam of Light Shines on Fallen Soldier’s Dog
American soldier Justin Rollins lost his young life in Iraq, when he was tragically killed by a roadside bomb. Pictures emailed to his family from his last night before the incident showed him with a rescued stray puppy from a litter he and his unit had found. The Rollins family began a campaign to find the last life their son touched before he died. After appealing to government agencies all the way up to the U.S. Congress, the pup, now named Hero, was found and adopted by the Rollins family.
When ABC News arrived at the Rollins house to report on the story, an incredible thing happened. While filming Hero in the family's backyard, the dog was bathed in a heavenly beam of light. The inspirational footage has to be seen to be believed.
