Your New Dog Now Only $24.95!
There are many reasons why giving a puppy or a dog as a holiday gift is not a good idea. We recommend allowing your recipient to make an informed decision about pet adoption and to pick the right dog for his or her energy level and lifestyle. Instead of surprising your loved one with a puppy, give them an IOU to announce your intention to arrange for an adoption.
Your New Dog: First Day and Beyond is the perfect DVD to use as an IOU, so we've dropped the price to only $24.95 in time for your holiday shopping! Your gift recipient will be more informed about the adoption process, understand the commitment they must be ready to make, and know how to start off right with their new companion.

Sneak Peek: New Episode in November
On November 28th 8PM EST, don't miss an all-new episode on the National Geographic Channel! First, Cirque Du Soleil's "O" showcases Adir Ionov's acrobatic talents 60 feet in the air. But after a long night on the trapeze, Adir has one more death-defying feat ahead of him before he goes to bed: he needs to walk his Maltese Fluffy. Can Cesar help this star from "O," or will Fluffy have to go?
Next, Jason Zulauf, a featured player in Cirque du Soleil's show "Ka," owns an American Eskimo called Kuma who is aggressive towards guests in the house. Jason is concerned that his new Corgi puppy may pick up the Eskimo's bad habits. Is Cesar ready for the Cirque du Kuma?
Finally, Paul Cameron is an accomplished acrobat in Cirque du Soleil's "Mystere." His Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Molly is petrified of the pool. Can Cesar unlock the mystery of Molly's hydrophobia, or will Paul's exercise plan sink like a stone? |
Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation Update
We're coming up on the end of another great year and, thanks to your generous contributions, the Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation has been able to help fund OVER 60 shelters and rescues across the country!
These organizations help to save dogs from euthanasia, offer free or low-cost spay/neuter services to families who would otherwise not be able to afford it, and travel to schools to implement educational programs that teach our children about the importance of humane, compassionate treatment of animals and proper pet care - and that's just for a start!
The Foundation has also provided over 90 organizations upwards of $75,000 worth of dog training aids and supplies, as well as donated over $30,000 in goods to organizations for use in raffles and silent auctions that generate even more to go toward the placement and proper care of the animals in their charge.
As 2008 winds down, consider giving these organizations something to be thankful for: make your contribution to the Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation and help us work toward a better future for humans and dogs everywhere!

Cesar's Top 10 Thanksgiving Tips
1.) Increase your dog's exercise regimen! Before visiting or receiving holiday guests, take your dog out for a long walk. If you drain your dog's excess energy, he or she will be more likely to behave.
2.) No food from the table! I recommend that you follow this rule year round, and it is even more important during the excitement of the holidays. Set a distance your dog is allowed to be from the table, and stick to it!
3.) Be aware of harmful human food! Many foods, such as turkey bones and skin, grapes, raisins, chocolate, and onions, can be dangerous. If you want your dog to be a part of the feasting, consider buying special dog treats or share a small piece of white turkey meat.

"Hello. I have a 7-week old coated Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican hairless) and he seems to have a something that seems like hiccups or some sort of mild twitch. I'm not sure.
It usually lasts a few minutes. It's almost not noticeable unless I holding him or if my hand is on him. He is not bothered by it at all. I would like to know if it is epilepsy or just burping or what?"
