| What Dogs Can Give to Children |
Dogs are the ultimate teachers. They allow children to have a special connection with Mother Nature. Through a relationship with a dog, a child can learn compassion, kindness, and the value of giving. Dogs give unconditional love, but they never expect anything in return. That is something any child can learn from.
It is our responsibility to make sure our children can safely take advantage of these lessons that dogs have to offer. If I had my way, every child across the globe would learn to practice "no touch, no talk, no eye contact" when first meeting a dog. Too many accidents occur when a child approaches a dog before allowing the dog to use his nose, eyes, and ears first.
CesarMillanKids.com, which was created by the Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation, provides a safe, easy-to-navigate environment for kids to experience the internet and learn about their dogs.
