I will never forget the beginnings of Dog Whisperer, in September 2004. Since it didn't air during primetime, there wasn't even advertising to promote the show. But somehow, each week, more and more people found it, and the letters and emails started pouring in.

 Cesar starts off the new year on January 8, at 9 PM ET/PT with a postman-fearing Weimaraner, a dog- and human-aggressive Shar-Pei, and an Australian Red Cattle Dog with a persistent barking problem.
