But it is important to remember that, just because a dog is smart, doesn't mean he is balanced. Many of the dogs that appear on Dog Whisperer have accomplished so much - from bomb sniffing K9s to agility champions - but these dogs still developed issues.

Dogs Learn at Different Rates

Just like people, dogs have different learning abilities. Some dogs learn quickly, some slowly, and some learn at different rates depending on many factors including what you are attempting to teach them.You should never compare your pup against another of the same age.

Camp Bow-Wow Makes Generous Contribution

The Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation would like to extend its warmest gratitude to Camp Bow-Wow and Home Buddies by Camp Bow-Wow for its generous contribution to the "Spay and Neuter is Nothing to Whisper About" campaign. Over 100 Camps and Home Buddies franchises across the country held fundraisers to raise money for the campaign. The largest donation by a single Camp came from Camp Bow Wow New Orleans who checked in at $3000. All together, the initiative raised over $18,000 for the campaign, which seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering household pets.
