Harley, the miniature pinscher, has been with Stephanie Tormey since the summer of 2009. She found him roaming the busy highway outside of her neighborhood at the time, and brought him home for the night with the intention of fostering him until she found his owner. He had no collar or microchip, and the vets in the area didn't recognize him. After posting “found dog” signs for nearly a month with no word, she decided to make him a part of her family, and hasn’t looked back since.

“When this photo was taken, we were celebrating his ‘anniversary’ (the day we found him), because we do not know his birthday,” said Stephanie. “I had bought ‘special bones’ for him and our other dog Teddy (silky terrier). Here in the photo, he was enjoying his yummy anniversary bone.”
