Run Home Roscoe

When Jorge Huerta first laid eyes on six month old Akita Roscoe, the dog was running around the backyard and seemed like a normal, happy puppy. When the dog was brought into the house, however, Roscoe showed a deep fear and refused to approach Jorge. Jorge was won over nonetheless and brought the dog home to his family. From the very beginning, Roscoe has refused to go outside the family’s property.

My roommate's mom gave me the Dog Whisperer DVD set to watch months ago. I broke them out the other day and I've been hooked. I can't stop watching them. It is truly amazing. I've really realized that in some respects I've been treating my dogs like people instead of dogs. They have become my roommates rather then my pets. Especially little miss Desiree, the most spoiled of the spoiled.

Dear Cesar,

We have a 13 week old Springer, and it is impossible to take him for a walk. He will not leave the yard. My husband just tried to walk him, and the puppy was so upset that he threw up! Please help. My husband eventually wants him to be a bird dog!
