Animal Shelter To Raise Money On Valentine’s Day With A Doggie Kissing Booth

Most of us already kiss our dogs when we get home from work, but what if you could do it for a good cause?

Richmond SPCA is returning this Valentine’s Day with its third annual ‘Dog Kissing Booth’ fundraiser.

How does it work? All you need to do is bring your dog into the shelter along with a $10 donation and take part in a special Valentine’s Day photo shoot.

Don’t have a dog? Richmond SPCA will give you an adorable pooch to smooch!

“Support the hundreds of homeless animals who are in our care each day, and Group Booths will snap a photo of you and your furry valentine and provide a souvenir printed photo,” Richmond SPCA told 8 News.

The kissing booth fundraiser will take place on Feb. 12 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 2519 Hermitage Road.

The Richmond SPCA is also running a ‘Lonely Hearts Club’ adoption promotion (25 percent off) to help adult pets get adopted.
