Dog And His Owner Have An Emotional Reunion After Three Years Apart

The longest most of us have probably been away from our pets is a couple of weeks for vacation. Some of us might have even been away a month or two for study abroad semester while in college or something similar. But three years? It’s doubtful that many of us have ever spent that long away from our dogs. But what if we’ve had to spend that long away from our dogs? Would they even remember us after that length of time? Of course, they would!

Dogs love us, and that love does not diminish over time. For those who may be doubtful, one video puts an end to any counter-argument. In a very touching moment, one dog owner and his pup are reunited after a long three years apart. The reunion took place at the airport as the owner was getting off the plane. Someone had the dog on the leash, and they were both waiting for the dog’s owner to appear.

Everyone who was standing around the terminal got to witness the precious moment. The pooch was stunned – not reacting for a full minute. We can only imagine that the pup was trying to figure out if it was his imagination playing tricks on him. But as soon as he realized it was his owner come back to him, he could not contain his excitement. Nor could his owner!

The two of them shared a tender reconnection that is nothing short of tear-jerking. Get your tissues ready before you watch it below:
