The Dogo Argentino is a large muscular breed that was developed in Argentina. The breed was traditionally used to hunt large game such as wild boar and pumas. Today, Dogo Argentinos are used as hunting companions, search and rescue dogs, police assistance, and perform military work. As household companions, Dogos are friendly, loyal, and great with children if provided with a firm pack leader.
