The Fila Brasileiro is a member of the Mastiff family and a descendant of the 15th century English Mastiff, Bloodhound, Bulldog, and Rafeiros. The breed has a keen sense of smell and an exceptional tracking ability. It is also known for herding and controlling livestock and large game. Fila Brasileiro are being courageous, determined, confident, and extremely loyal and protective of its family.
