Japan’s Airport Has A Bathroom For Dogs With A Self-Cleaning ‘Pee Pole’

If you travel with your dog, then you know how hard it can be to take them outside for potty breaks and cleaning them off.

One airport in Japan now has the best doggie rest area ever! It featured shower facilities and a “pee pole” that cleans itself.

Located by the Osaka International Airport’s pick-up and drop-off area, the facility was designed for dog owners to let their pets relieve themselves before entering the building.

The Narita airport in Tokyo also has an area specifically for service dogs located inside the terminal. But the new doggie bathrooms in Osaka take things one step further.

“We envisioned these dog-toilets would be used before service dogs get on the flight with their owners,” Kei Ogata, a spokeswoman from Kansai airport, told CNN Travel.

Not only does it have toilets for your doggo, but there is also space for your pets to run around with benches and fresh drinking water.

They even built a roof over the entire area to make sure it can handle all types of weather.

Is it just me or are things just a lot cooler in Japan?
