A beloved family dog that has been missing since 2007 was finally located more than a thousand miles away from her home in Pittsburgh, PA.
Duchess had been lost for 12 years. And when she was finally reunited with her owner, the touching moment was captured on video by the Human Animal Rescue.
Duchess, a toy fox terrier, disappeared from her home in South Florida in 2007. She was discovered under a shed on Monday. The senior dog who is 14-years-old, was hungry, shaking, and in desperate need of grooming when she was found.

The person who rescued her took her to the Humane Animal Rescue where she was scanned for a microchip – and that is when her owner’s contact information popped up.
Her owner, Katheryn Strang drove up all the way to Pittsburgh, PA from Boca Raton, FL on Friday to get her baby.
She couldn’t believe it when she received the call, she later revealed on a livestream Facebook video. She says she continued to pay the microchip service fees all those years, hoping for a miracle. She finally got it.
We are so happy for the two.
