Rat Decides To Take A Nap With A Sweet German Shepherd

Sometimes the only cure for a lack of energy is an afternoon nap. And that is exactly what Blaze and Nuka needed after an exhausting playtime. However, these two best friends weren’t just any ordinary pairing. Blaze is a rat and his best buddy Nuka is a black German Shepherd.

While unusual, their friendship works. And it’s an adorable friendship at that. The video showed the two sleepyheads enjoying a nap together. In the footage, Blaze is happily tucked up under the crook of Nuka’s legs. The rat is sleeping peacefully, completely dead to the world. Nuka looks like he’s drifting in and out, but wakes up when their owner gets closer with the camera.

Then, Nuka’s head perks up, but Blaze continues to snooze, only briefly stirring when Nuka gives him a quick sniff. The rat doesn’t seem bothered by the couple of licks he gets though. Blaze looks like he’s happy to continue sleeping, but unfortunately for him, Nuka decides it’s time to get up. Nuka properly sits up and the disturbance is too much, eventually jarring Blaze from his repose.

But Nuka makes it up to Blaze with another set of licks and the chance to crawl back under his arm for another shot at that nap. Don’t you hate when your nap gets interrupted like that? Watch these two friends in the video below:
