Reese Witherspoon Practices Yoga With Her Dogs Hank And Lou

Since going into lockdown, many of us have had to adjust our schedules to find a new sense of normal amid all the madness that is the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. For those of us with pets, we’ve undoubtedly incorporated them into many of our new routines. For celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, that means having her dogs join her in some yoga.

What family fun!

In an adorable Instagram photo of the actress, she appears to be taking her two dogs, Hank and Lou, under her wing and teaching them the ancient practice of yoga.

As the celebrity wrote in the photo’s caption, “I call this #treatpose.🧘‍♀️.”

In the actual photo, Witherspoon is seen in her backyard sitting crosslegged with her hands in front of her, and her eyes closed. In very close proximity, and looking equally as zen while they wait for a treat, are her doggies. Both Hank and Lou are in the picture, waiting on that treat.

In previous Instagram content, Witherspoon has referred to her blue-eyed bulldog, Lou, as her “work from home buddy.” The adorable pooch appeared in other pictures on her Instagram that she’s posted during the pandemic.

Witherspoon, who is also a mom of three, has been very vocal about how she’s been handling both parenthood and work – all while practicing social distancing at her home. In fact, she’s even posted a hilarious picture of herself hiding in the closet.

That photo was captioned, “Welcome to my new WFH situation! Quiet and (sort of) private. ✅ But my assistant smells like dog food..”

Of course, not far off in the picture was her faithful Lou.

Previously on CBS, the actress was pretty vocal about her struggle to juggle everything that she strives to get done.

“I’ll lay on the floor and cry or I’ll sit in my car and cry,” she said. “Sometimes I’m totally overwhelmed.”

Witherspoon, who is a busy producer with her company Hello Sunshine, revealed to the morning talk show that she often puts a lot of pressure and expectation on herself to make a difference for women in Hollywood.

She explained, “I really want to change things. I see younger women in our industry and I want them to have a better experience. … I want to see that they have a beautiful idea of what the future could hold. I will put in the hours and I bet on myself. I’m my own lottery ticket. I always think that you know. If no one else shows up, I know I will show up and I know I will do the work.”

Back in March while on Miley Cyrus’ Instagram Live talk show Bright Minded: Live With Miley, Witherspoon revealed that one of the ways that her family of five are juggling the quarantine was by making sure that each family member had space of their own to concentrate on either work or school.

Speaking of her husband, Jim Toth, and her three kids: 20-year-old Stanford University student Ava, 16-year-old Deacon, and 7-year-old Tennessee, she said, “I think it’s really important to designate space.”

She added, “My husband and I are both working from home and all three kids are doing school online. So everybody has a room that has a little area and there’s a privacy sign there, so when the privacy sign is on and your headphones are on, you can’t interrupt.”

Well, it looks like she’s doing just fine with her pups in quarantine – they’re no doubt some of the best company around.
