Rescue Dog Now Greets Guests At A Bus Station

A rescue dog works with her owner at a bus station.

Chiquita is perhaps the hardest working pooch in Blumenau, Brazil. This 9-year-old girl puts in long hours at a bus station where she is a ticket counter attendant. The pup was adopted. By Adelsionir and Mariani. Rather than leaving their new family addition at home during the day, they decided to take her to the bus station and put her to work.

And she proved that she was quite the hit at work. Not only does she help to keep an eye on things, Chiquita also brings a happy presence to the customers. As Adelsionir shared on Facebook, people get a kick out of going up to her service desk. And the little pooch enjoys the attention as well.

Her owner added, “Only animals love us regardless of how we look, our social class, our profession, or the place where we live. None of that matters to them. All they want is to feel loved in the same way that they love: unconditionally.” And this is so true. Dogs definitely make a world of difference when it comes to giving unconditional love. We could all learn a lesson from them.

No doubt Chiquita is making a lot of people happy when they show up at her ticket counter. How adorable is this sweet girl? Have you ever taken your dog to work with you? Let us know!
