There is still some good news in this world amid all the panic over the current COVID-19 global pandemic. In fact, the American Kennel Club (AKC) is spreading some cheer through its PupPals Program where you can send someone a “puppygram.”
As the AKC stated, “The AKC PupPals Program provides people in need of uplifting with a message from a canine friend.”
The added, “Anyone is eligible to receive a note, including people who are struggling with an illness, the illness/death of a loved one (human or pet), who are missing a deployed loved one, or who are otherwise struggling through a difficult time.”
Anyone can submit, however, if someone is under the age of 18, then a parent or legal guardian must fill out the form for them.

From there, the AKC will send a letter or video to that person from one of their canine companions.
In addition, the AKC is also asking that people submit videos of their now dogs in order to be able to share them with others.
However, the guidelines for submitting videos of your dog are as follows:
– Videos are no longer than one minute.
– They should be filmed from the dog’s POV
– They suggest having your dog do a trick or striking a cute pose.
– Include your dog’s name, breed, and some of their favorite things.
– Include an uplifting message.
