Shelter Dogs Get Super Confused By Magician’s Tricks

Everybody likes magic, right? Even the happy crowd of shelter dogs who got a private performance by Magician John Stessel. He certainly filled these adorable dogs with a sense wonder through his magic, and their reactions were priceless.

Stessel, who formed a working partnership with director Rob Bliss and TBS, paid a visit to New York’s Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter. It was there that he put on a show for the dogs eagerly awaiting homes, giving them an opportunity to showcase their irresistible personalities to potential adopters.

Stessel said to The Dodo, “I’ve always loved the idea of doing magic with dogs. Performing for them was nothing short of incredible.”

Below is a video of Stessel in front of his furry audience:

“The reaction from the dogs was just amazing. They were just so cute. It was really special,” Stessel said.

After the show ended, all of the dogs got showered with loads of treats and love. And hopefully, with some help from the attention they received, they will be performing disappearing acts of their own – just in time to join a loving family for the holidays! We wish these dogs every bit of luck in finding their forever homes.

“They just wanted to be loved,” Stessel stated. “Each one of them would be perfect to find their own forever home.”
