Stray animals have a very rough life out on the streets as it’s a very cold and hungry existence for many – not to mention quite lonely.
However, one homeless dog was given a lucky break after she discovered a local Subway sandwich shop that has some very friendly employees. Of course, the best solution would be for her to have a loving family to keep her safe and fed, but for the time being at least the stray can rest a little easier knowing that she doesn’t have to go in search of dumpster scraps.
Instead, this smart girl visits her local Subway every evening for her meal, waiting patiently behind the glass door until someone inside notices her.
The workers posted about the dog’s adorable routine in a TikTok video – where it quickly went viral – saying, “We always feed her.”
The workers have dubbed the gentle and friendly stray, “Subway Sally,” and according to them, she has shown up every evening for the past year! And it is no wonder she keeps coming back – the mixed meats platter that the workers make up for her looks great!
One envious customer watching the video of Sally eating some turkey and bacon even wrote, “Y’all give the dog more meat than us paying customers.”
It should also be noted that these workers always take care to skip items like bread and sauce, which can upset a dog’s digestive system.
While Subway Sally currently lacks an official address, she certainly has been causing quite the stir on Twitter, with one user commenting, “Someone adopt her I wanna cry.” A second person said, “Not to be dramatic but I would die for Subway Sally.” And a third user agreed with the first, saying, “Someone adopt her please.”

And it looks like the Subway chain is more than happy with the workers feeding Sally, as the company had the following response to all the Twitter comments about the dog: “Subway Sally just made all of our dreams come true.”
While we are more than happy to see these kind employees feed Subway Sally, as animal lovers we can’t help but hope one of these days soon, Subway Sally can go trending on Twitter again for another reason: having a forever home. Should we maybe start the hashtag #giveSubwaySallyahome?
