To All Applicants:
If you would like to be considered for the show, we require signed release forms and a short video (5-7 minutes) for all of our applicants.
Please mail your video and forms according to the information below, or if you live in Southern California, bring them to an audition and meet the producers.
1.) Video Requirements:
In your video, we would like you to capture at least 3 instances of your dog’s unwanted behavior. In addition, we would like you to introduce yourself and your dog. Give us your name, age, and occupation, as well as the dog’s name, age, and breed. Tell (and show) us the problems your dog is having and how these issues are affecting your life. Also, let us know what you love about your dog.
Please do not endanger any people or dogs while trying to capture the behavior. Try using a muzzle, leash, or fence to assist, if you are dealing with an aggressive dog.
When making the video:
- Please try to keep the camera as still as possible and have a friend do the filming. We want to see both you and the dog!
- Avoid having the date and time on the screen.
- Don’t zoom in too close to the dog; we want to see as much of the environment as possible.
- Avoid backlighting on subjects around doors and windows.
- Please do not add music to your submission video; editing your video is not required.
- The more you can show the behavior, the better, as that is mostly how we make our decisions
- Be creative! Tell us why your situation would make for a good story.
Click here to read advice on how to put together your audition video from producers of Dog Whisperer.
Technical Information:
We accept all formats, except from digital cameras and cell phones. We are unable to return submission videos, so if you would like to keep the footage, please make a copy for yourself. If you're submitting a DVD, please make sure that the DVD is finalized and will play in a standard DVD player.
Please note, we will NOT consider your story for
Dog Whisperer if you post your submission video on a website like Google Videos, YouTube, Myspace, or Friendster.
Don’t Have a Video Camera? Tips on How to Find One:
- Use your network. Ask you friends. Ask your friends to ask their friends. Ask your dentist, your hair stylist, and your mechanic. You never know who might have a camera!
- Rent a camera. Check your yellow pages for a vendor in your area.
- Check the library. Often your local library will have one available to borrow.
2.) Release Form Requirements:
All of the following forms must be completed and submitted with your video. Everyone seen in the video must sign an Adult or Minor Personal Release form, and at least one Bio Sheet should be filled out per submission. You can download the forms from the following links below:

Territorial dog danger
Dear Cesar,
Would you please consider doing a Canadian episode of "Dog Whisperer"?? My family and I desperately need your help, I am a 28 yr. old disabled (cerebral palsy) female I live with my parents and use a walker to get around ouside the home. I am the primary owner of our 4 yr. old Jack-Shih-Poo Jersey. She is generally a very sweet and well behaved dog, We have two major issues with her: the first is with our 3yr old cat whom I brought into the home as a kitten. After properly socialising them as per veterinary instruction they were getting along fine Jersey was very gentle with him, then after about 3 months she began to attack him and chase him out of rooms. She no longer attacks him but still like to chase and dominate him when the oppertunity arises.
The second and more urgent issue is when it comes to being around other dogs, (large ones in perticular) her personality changes drastically. When a dog passes by our property or if we happen to meet one when out on a walk she will begin to bark and growl or she will make a high pitched whine/bark noise often lunging and snapping at the other dog as well. I have tried techinques given to me by two different trainers as well as a relaxation protocol givin to me by our vet.
Using these coupled with tips I have gained from watching your show I have seen some progress when on walks and in being able to calm her faster when a dog is ouside our window. However lately she seems to be becoming more territorial. A friend of mine form down the street brought her German Shepard over about a month ago, Jersey was outide and was doing her usual barking and yipping routine, she then proceeded to bite him on the face drawing blood. Yesterday her and I were out for a walk when we were approched by an Akita mix that lives a block over, Jersey is usualy not too bad with this dog but is also very protective of me. She began her usual behaviour and we were about to carry on when the Akita came from behind and threw herself on top of Jersey knocking me to the ground. Nobody was hurt but I am afraid that Jersey's behaviour caused the attack from the usually docile Akita. I have often been knocked over quite seriously by Jersey's Nerveous/aggressive actions and am becoming less and less able to bring her on walks do to and unrelated injury. I am afraid that if her behaviour continues this way she will switch her actions to humans as well as dogs. Please help me to help her, I don't want to lose my best friend. As a side note if we were to meet these dogs on their own properties she would be fine and even want to play with them.
my friends pit bull
I have a friend who's pit bull pookie is only aggresive with other animals. and pookie bit her boston terrior pup on the head tonight and their talking of putting her down cause no rescue will take her cause she is aggresive with other animals. They would like to find her a home but I suggested that they contact you. Don't know how to send you an email but maybe this will work. They either need your help to teach them how to handle the dogs or maybe you could take her or find someone who will. She knows I'm writing for her.so please find a way to answer me one way or another. Or send me an email address i can contact you with if intrested. Thank you.
dear cesar Will you ever come
dear cesar
Will you ever come to canada to do the show???
we need help here too! =]
specifically British Columbia...Vancouver !
Very aggresive dog.
Dear Cesar,
My family lives in Dracut, Ma. We own 6 dogs in the house hold ( 4 Boston terriers, a french bulldog, and a Puggle.) My sister lives in the basement with her puggle Brady, and the rest live on the main floor of the house. We recently acquired a five year old french bull dog Madison from a friend that could no longer keep her. When introducing her to the four dogs on the main floor, she was very aggresive, but after taking them out of the house to meet, she became more friendly with them. Now and then there are still some pretty bad brawls between them if one of them seems more dominant then her. My sisters puggle brady used to come upstairs and play with the dogs all the time, he is a very friendly and outgoing dog. when maddison came we never introduced them and it has become a huge problem. We have tried introducing them many times on leashes outside, or in the house without any other dogs around, and its impossible. Madison becomes extremely violent when Brady is around, even though he has done nothing to cause this. she goes airborn to try to go after him and has actually done bad damage twice. she split his ear, and nose on two different occasions. she will sit infront of the basement door, barking and trying to go through it if Brady is at the stairs. we've notice that she tracks his scent whenever he leaves a room. It's a huge problem, because we cant travel together with all the dogs, someone has to get left behind. when my sister is gone brady cannot come play with the other dogs unless madison is put away. we desperatly need help to find peace in this household again for both dogs and humans. please help us.
Sincerely,
Margie and Stephanie

YORKIE going backwards
Hello Cesar and everyone else,
We need some advise and help! We have 4 dogs total! 1 we have had 2 yrs and the other 2 for 1 yr. The newest one a 5 lb mini Yorkie we just got from my sister a few weeks ago. His name is Bart! he is funny, quick and likes to use the bathroom in the house! My sister could no longer keep him after her husband left a year ago. She has 3 kids and a full time job. She wasn't able to give Bart the attention he needs. Tim and I decided to take him to keep him in the family. She flew out to Az from St. Louis with him! We have a doggie door, we take them to the doggie park every night and we play with them each night. We have NO children at home, so these are our children! Even family knows, LOVE ME, LOVE MY DOGS!
We set an alarm to go off every 2 hours to take him outside. he knows how to use the Doggie door. he follows the other dogs out and us when we go out. He is still using the bathroom in the house. Kim said it started a year ago. He used to pull his leash off the hook and bring it to you when he had to go. We need to help him remember what he should be doing. We are just not sure how! Our other dogs bark like crazy when he is going in the house, but it doesn't stop him. Can someone please give us advise? We would even take the Dog Whisperer himself to come on out and give us a hand!
Thank you for listening to me!
Love Robin and Tim
Cesar we need your help!
Cesar, I am in need of your help. My Husband and I have 2 German Shepherds, Our oldest who is 3 is the perfect dog, and our youngest who is 1.5 yrs, is extremely aggressive towards other dogs, if he sees another dog while on a walk he goes into full on attack mode,he pulls, aggressively barks and shows his teeth, he has even tried to attack a little puppy! we have a pinch collar for our walks but that doesn't even work, he puts all his weight behind him. He has bite one of my friends. We put him through puppy classes when he was a pup and he was great with the dogs, and then something changed in him and he's become aggressive and seems to be afraid of the world. On garbage days he is so scared of the bins on the sidewalk and trys to pull away from them.
My Husband is currently deployed to Afghanistan until December, and I am almost at my whits end. I would love to have you come work with Zeus and I.
Please help us here in Canada!
being dragged 100 feet
my dog diesel is a one of kind sweet dog he is part boxer and something else.. but he intends to like to drag me around and ive been dragged a 100 feet just to go get another dog. he isnt aggresive but he gives off the impression that he is an aggresive dog. all of his hairs stand up and he draws himself up and charges forward. and there have been times where i can stop him by falling to the pavement and making myself dead weight. he knows who the leadder is when my husband and me finally do get him to do what we say or once we get him inside he slinks away and tries to get to his cage before we get to him. we have tried to be threatning and we have tried to use a cage and keeping calm and just nothing.. lately ive been getting sicker and with multiple problems and i cant keep throwing myself on the floor to keep my dog. he has escaped and it took us three hours to get him back. he would just keep us in sight and run and run and do whatever it took to avoid us and make sure we werent just goingg to leave him outside. he has never bitten another dog even when he was attacked. he does well at all the dog parks and loves to play with people and dogs and cats. its just the impression that has to stop me from going outside when thier are other people and animals. and my other dog ruby use to never be the loud mouth she even walked with me without a leash and listen but ever since we got diesel she has gotten worse.she has been put on a leash and since she was never taught to be on a leash she chokes herself out. if he starts barking she makes it even worse by supporting him with her voice. which gives him an extra kick to keep pulling me. we have tried gentle leaders, choke collars and we take him out to the park as much as we can and take him out for walks and we cant take them for long walks because of this problem. its not easy and i would really appreciate any help or advice to help fix this problem.
please help me and my two hyperactive canadian pugs!!!!
Hello,I have two pugs, one is 4 and has been with me since he was a puppy and for the most part was well controlled and my other pug is 3 and she was adopted at 1yr old. she has come along way since then and I have trained her to use bathroom outside and not be so fearful of everything but now it seems she is the exact opposite and tries to attack other dogs mainly big dogs, this often gets my other male pug going crazy too, I have went from having no issues on walks to not being able to handle them at all, also the female shakes and shrieks uncontrollably every morning to get out of her kennel once she hears i'm up and also shakes and spins in circles and cries when anticipating meal time..her anxiety is giving me and my family anxiety and leaving us feeling overwhelmed..wishing for help over here in canada!!Thanks :)
I NEED EMERGENCY HELP TO SAVE MY DOG
EMERGENCY....I am a pitt bull owner and am having a problem with my dog being aggressive. It started with jumping the fence to go after dogs walking by our house, so we started keeping him on a chain. Then he broke the chain, so we now take him out on a leash. Recently, he jumped through an open window while we were not home and I am told he was very aggressive towards people. Apparently he ran towards the police officer that was called out, the officer had to fire his gun to get him to back down. I have never seen him be aggressive toward any humans, and when I got home he was calm and not at all aggressive, so I don't know what happened to trigger his aggression. I was ticketed for this incident and have been advised to have the dog put down, because it isnt fair to place a problem dog with someone else. I absolutely will not have him put down and I do not want to give him up. I am looking for a volunteer to teach me how to rehabilitate him. I cannot afford to pay a trainer, but I love my dog very much and I want to be a responsible dog owner. My dog was never fought or involved in fighting to my knowledge. We got him when he was a year and a half old, he is now three. You are my last hope to save our beloved family member.

My Nervous Canadian Dog needs you Cesar
Dear Cesar,
I heard you are coming to Calgary,AB, Canada in November and me and my Shitzu/Bichon, Emmy need your help. When my husband and I got Emmy 10 months ago we tried to use your techniques and received great feed back from our family and friends about how well behaved she was. Along with your techniques we put Emmy into puppy glasses for some obidence as soicalize with other dogs. When she was 8 month I decide to put her in Agility. Through the agility classes we were invited to audtion for a Canadian dog show called Superdogs. The feed back was that she has good potiental but there is one major issue; she is scared of strangers, espeically strange men and she doesn't like her neck and head to be touched. This is a problem as strangers need to hold her while I prep for the race during the show. Also when she is off leash during agility she listen quite well but as soon as she is loses interest or is on a leash she doesn't like to listen and becomes more fearful. Many people have given us advise but they don't seem to help.
Please Cesar, I need you to show me how to make her listen and be confident around strangers and on the leash!!
Canada Visit
I wish I had known you were heading here, my sister is in desperate need of your services. She has a golden retriever that is getting aggressive out of fear, and has bitten my niece several times. You rock!! Love your show, you are amazing.
Can you make our new duckies and new dog BFF's ??
Every summer we have taken on the very fun adventure of hatching ducks. This year for the first time we have a ... doggie!!! Our duckies just hatched a few days ago and we are trying to introduce them to our new dog but he keeps licking his lips and angling at them with his teeth. He also wants to pounce on them :(
We really feel in our hearts that he just wants to play and not hurt them. We decided to try this because our doggie was a rescue do who has always been so kind and loving, he is such a thankful dog~ he is the best. He is a mix between a poodle and a Maltese and leans more towards the poodle size.
The whole family, me, my husband, and our two kids would love you forever if you could helps us. But please hurry those ducks will grow fast. We are here in Southern California.
Sincerly,
Geri K
The Terrible 3
I have 3 dogs. One is Jill our 5 year old Yellow Lab, next is Tinker, to be honest we don't know what she is we adopted her. Tinker is almost a year old we aren't sure when she was born. Next is Riley a 14 week Shih-poo, or so we think. We originally had Jill and another dog but he became agressive and bit my little cousin that lives with us in the face so he sadly had to be put down. My mom was looking for another dog and found at the animal shelter, we believe, 5 week old puppies the day before christmas. They told us she was going to stay small and we thought she was a Pitbull when we first got her but we soon realized that she is not a Pitbull but some type of hound. She is full of energy which would be somewhat ok but she is a jumper and tends to get at the same height as my cousin which scares him, she isn't viscious in any way but my mom tried to find her a new home with someone and it didn't work out. I am afraid of taking her or Jill for a walk because they are very strong and the dogs in this town aren't socialized very well so I always fear my safety as well as my dogs. Jill isnt very sociable with other dogs in general unless they are puppies, her motherly instincts kick in. While the person had Tinker for that short period of time we got another puppy, Riley, who now has major seperation anxiety between my mom or my sister. My sister can put her in my arms and start walking away and she starts yelping and trying to get out of my hands. We have a pen for her to play in and she whines if my sister or my mom walks away. Probably the only time she is quiet is when she is sleeping. Mix all of those together and you have a mad house that is hard to fix when everyone is trying to handle it in different ways. I need help I don't want to get rid of Tinker but with her jumping on my cousin and the couches and even my grandpa she is dangerous even though it isn't intentional. I know you are taking submissions from the total opposite side of the country but I don't know what else to do.
Please come to Spain!
Hi, my name is Cristina, and i'm writing from Spain.
I love the dog whisperer, but i'm sad because Cesar is very far away from here.
I've got a Bull Terrier, called Almond. It's lovely at home, but in the street... it's an evil!
My boyfriend and I contact with 2 different professionals of canine conduct, but we have no good results...
I love Almond but I'm afraid when I go to the street and we meet another dog. Not matters if the dog is male, female, child, old, big or little...
Sorry if my english is bad, i hope you understand my problem!
Bye from Spain!
Dallas need HELP!
I have a very cute 3 year old Cairn Terrier named Dexter. His hobbies include attacking the vaccuum cleaner, sitting at the window and barking at everyone that passes, and going insane when the neighbor is riding his skateboard. We are both on the road to crazyville and I have no idea how to help us.
Help my Sister
My sister has a high energy 1-1/2 year old Golden with her husband here in mid-Maryland. While beautiful, loving & still very much a puppy, she remains quite hard for my sister to manage despite a great jump start with obedience classes. My sister has MS and while still highly functional and regulated with medication, her dog was supposed to be therapeutic for her. Currently, her dog has strength beyond my sister's capabilities & acts out with rough play when ignoring bad behavior in her home. I also observe my sister having a high sense of anxiety with her dog and I would just like to help her. I've observed my sister's inability to control her 70 pound dog when guests come to her home and reach a sense of stress that I know is affecting her health. I know she is very bonded with her dog and has such a great sense of responsibility, but many of us in the family are concerned her dog causes more stress than a therapeutic friend. I know you could help her situation and provide a solution for her to handle her dog and continue a great lifetime bond. Please consider coming to Maryland and helping my sister cope with her dog.
Wow...Im gonna try to keep it short, theres so many submissions.
Ok, I know I have no chance for this one, but I will do anything to save this dogs life. Ive been trying for 4 years to get this German Shepherd mix to get over his fear of people. He was a stray when he came up. I don't have any other dogs and I know how much the power of the pack can help. Anyways, Im a student at Animal Behavior College and own every single one of your episodes and still have never seen a dog more terrified than this one. He is very smart and knows many tricks, but I am the ONLY person this dog will come up to after 4 years, and thats on a good day. He still gets extremely jumpy if I stand up or move too quickly. The bad news is Im moving and he cant come with me, and since he's so scared no one wants him. Theres only one shelter around that I can take him to and they euthanize. There is no more chances for this dog, and even if you cant help him is there any advice or maybe one last thing I could try. I just don't want to give up him especially since he doesn't have anyone else. Thank you!
survival techniques
Hi,
I'm a big fan of the survival shows and learning techniques to use in a disaster. What about an episode that deals with keeping dogs safe and/or using dogs to help in a disaster?
Thanks,

Hey Cesar
I know im just one more person who needs you help with their dogs, so im just going to say this anyways, i really hope you do read it.
I have a 5 year old Lab mixed w/ Pitbull. and when she was little she was very social, and i trained her myself, however as she grew up she became aggressive, it could of been the incident, that when she was a pup this older lab one time went up to her and scared her. ever since then she doesn't like other dogs, she also is aggressive with certain ppl, but mostly with dogs. There has been two occasions where she has bitten another dog, and she tends to kill anything that moves. she has killed opossums in our yard, rats, mice. she has even shown aggressiveness with family members. We love her so much, that we want to take her out to places like the park and spend quality time with her but she is just dangerous, that we have no other choice but to leave her inside the house all the time. On my behalf i have tried to put these rules with my dog but my parents dont agree with me, so i really need help trying to get thru to my parents and i think that with your help i can achieve it since you are the DOG WHISPERER.
Thank you
Sincerely,
Elsie

Canadians need you!!
Hi there,
I have a friend who needs help here in Ontario with her Boston Terrior Cody. He's nearly a yr old, and his agression/fear is getting worse to the point that her common law husband has put up an ad to sell her dog without telling her. She has taken Cody to 3 different trainers with no success, she works at Petsmart and has an open availability with the trainers. He is ok with people he knows well, in the sense that he won't bite them, but if your a stranger...don't turn your back or he'll bite your leg!! He's very agressive with people walking by, and other dogs. He does well with my passive submissive Golden Retriever Buddy, but still bites at his fur, and tries to consitantly hump him. I have tried Ceasar's methods on many dogs (I attend the dog park regularily) with great success, but I have no success with Cody. He's not agressive with me, but won't listen/learn from me either. She can no longer take him out in public without a wire muzzle on.
She fears without help, one day she will return home and Cody will be gone. That would not be good for her or Cody!
Please help us soon, before it's too late!

Please Help! My dog is running out of Time!!!
I am writing to you today with much sadness, my 16 month old chow "Skye" attacked my neighbor three days ago. Right now he is in a ten day quarantine and on the elventh day will have to be put down if I can't find immediate help! In January of this year he attacked my Fiance over a chicken bone he had stolen from the garbage. At that time we contacted the "Dog Whisperer of Maine." He is so much like you cesar its uncanny. His name is Sergei Bachkovsky. Sergei came to our home and worked with my dog and for a while Skye was doing so much better. Three days ago he got free from his chain and severly attacked my neighbor. I thought he was going to kill her! By the grace of God I was able to pull him off her!! I have tried to contact Sergei for help with no luck so far. If I can't find a qualified person to take him in a forever home.. He will have to be put down. He is a smart and beautiful dog that truly deserves to get the help he very much needs! I am not asking today for your help.. I am begging you! It would be a wonderful thing to save Skye and maybe also for you to meet your counter part here in the state of Maine. There just are not enough people like the two of you. So many wonderful dogs that need saving and only one you! Thank you for taking the time to read this. I do understand your very busy and even if you can't help Skye Its such a blessing that you are able to help so many others!
Hoping above hope you can help!
Thank you very much !
Sincerely, Maureen
If Cesar is ever in NY
I adopted my dog Ly from Taiwan when she was 8 months old. She is missing a paw and had a very difficult "puppyhood". When she was a puppy, she was caught in a trap for days and eventually rescued. She never learned how to be a puppy, and is very wary of who she comes close to and which dogs she wants to be friends with. She is a happy dog in our home, but when we leave to go for walks, she is fearful and cautious when it comes to new people, toys and new areas. I admit we are very attached to one another and my fiance and my other dog often get left out because I am always worried about Ly. I made many mistakes, like bringing her food bowl to her rather than leaving it where the other food bowls are, I spoil her, but with good intention. I am too overprotective of her and I need to learn that she is a DOG and not my child. :) I have made many changes in the past year to help her grow and step out of her comfort zone, but while feeling safe. I need to learn the skills to help her over come her fears and anxieties. Overall, I want Ly to be as happy as she possibly can be. I want to help her recover. Please, Cesar, if you ever in the NY area, please, please come meet Ly! We really need to over come this together.
Maryland Pitbull..

She is scaired of all loud noises and she is extremely aggresive about the crate especially when she is in it...And latley she has been grabbing at our arms and hands for no reason..each time she does it she bites down harder and harder...I have tried everything I know..she really is a great dog my family and I love her so much but I only 95% trust her now and I dont like it....You are great with pitbulls and I would love if you could come to Maryland and help us out:0)

I have a pit-bull/rottweiler mix whose a year old. I got him when he was 2 months and brought him everywhere I went, I showered him with love and attention, and he gets more than enough exercise. I have no problems with him, except that ever since he was 5 months old he's started getting aggressive toward people that come too close to me. Some people he's automatically okay with, most people can't get within 5 feet of me though. He scares my friends, family and strangers. There's been a couple instances where he's bitten people, and he has very strong jaws. I'm not sure what started this behavior and clearly I've never learned how to manage it either. I have asked my vet about it and she told me that aggression is hereditary in dogs (his mother was so aggressive she had to be pinned down so the puppies could feed). My vet refuses to even see him unless he has a muzzle on, and she gets me to bring him outside in the back of the building for his exams or needles. It really upsets me because I love him so much and I want everyone to see the side of him that I do. I desperately need help on controlling this issue. I feel so hopeless and I know Cesar would be able to help me with him, but I live in the Maritimes in Canada. Cesar, I'm begging you, please make a trip to Canada and help me get my old loving puppy back.
El Paso, Texas needs your help
Hello,
I was wondering if Cesar would be interested on helping somebody like me to help dogs here in El Paso, TX.
I have two dogs and I do not have any issues with them, thanks to Cesar Millan since I watch the show every time and practice his strategies everyday. I got a dog for the first time in my life at the age of 38. Before I got my now four-year old dog (Yellow Lab), I was pretty much afraid of every dog, small or big due to a traumatic experience in my childhood. At first it was really hard to trust him, even though he was a puppy, but now I even kiss him every single day; he is the love of my life, and he has taught me how beautiful canines can be. After him, I found a stray puppy (Cocker Spaniel) and I adopted her. She needed a lot of discipline and she is doing much better now.
What I would like is to be able to help other dogs, starting in my neighborhood. I know that a lot of the dogs around here are not being walked, and it breaks my heart. I want to walk about ten dogs at a time, but I am still too afraid of dogs that I am not familiar with, especially big ones. I want to feel confident, calm and assertive when meeting other dogs. I have tried to do it by myself by volunteering at the Animal Rescue League of El Paso, but it is just too intimidating to be close to other dogs that I don't know anything about.
Would you be interested on being able to help me to help dogs in this area?
Thank you,
AL

HELP!!!! My daughter has a part Lab/Mastif?/Pit? which totally runs the house & all that's in it. I visit often from OR, & he's gotten progressively more aggressive. If he's in the house you have to have EVERYTHING up or it's destroyed ..phones, remotes, shoes,EVERYTHING. This visit he's torn my arm up just trying to get him to stay down & then growled & snapped at me trying to get him out. He weighs about 70 lbs & is impossible for me to handle when I'm babysitting. I worry he will bite one of the kids(7,13,15)soon. The parents have given up trying to calm him & just accept he's that way. They try in their own way, but never really correct the situation. Right now I fear he is may only get worse without your help. Parents are agreeable to this.
Husky/Terrier
My wife and I adopted a husky/terrier we named her Sasha. She is now 6 months old and I find her to be a good dog but with some issues. My wife adopted Sasha with the intentions of helping our autistic son be a little more sociable and possibly life skills. The problem is Sasha is teething and tends to snap at both Nickolai and my wife, named Sherrie. Sasha went as far as biting my wife on the hand when I wasn't around. That is another issue Sasha is listening to me more than my wife. I do spend a lot of time with Sasha. My wife doesn't because of work, but she genuinely loves Sasha. She did adopted her because she loves her son in hopes of them bonding together. She does love Sasha as well. I am changing my schedule around because I am trying my best to train Sasha to behave better with my wife and son. I am afraid of being called up to serve again possibly later on this year and I don't want to be worried about Sasha biting my wife or son. I am a United States Army Reservist and might be deployed later on this year. Please if not for myself but for my wife and son, who sadly happens to be autistic. I can sacrifice anything or do anything for them both, but I need your help immensely.

The story of 4 Canadian Pugs!!
My name is Stephanie and I live in Ontario, Canada. I know Cesar can't help every single dog in the world but I thought I would give this a shot. My family and I watch your show all the time and we try the different techniques we see but none of them seem to work or maybe were just not doing it correctly. We have 4 pugs, a 3 year old named Cooper, two 2 year old sisters named Daisy and Lily and a 1 year old named Koa.
Cooper was our first pug ever and he is such a docile boy and very lovable and loves to snuggle and cuddle but he has a horrible barking problem when he's outside in our fenced in backyard, anything that shouldn't be in the yard like a squirral or bird or even the neighbour in the next yard he runs as fast as he can and he barks at it and continues to do so until it goes away, he has this same problem with new people especially males and also anythings with wheels that turns, skateboards, rollerblades and such. In the car he is the same way but it's worse when he sees another dog and he gets carried away.
Daisy our 2 year old seems to have an awful problem with being really skidish. The slightest thing moves, drops, makes a noise and she is barking at it. Another issue she has is if we accidently step on one of the other dogs feet or something they yelp and then she gets cross and goes and decides to bite Koa or Lily to take out her anger or agression. Were just not sure why she does this and how we can stop it from happening, she tries to do other things like when the other female dogs are playing with a chew toy or bone she will go and start chewing their ears and by the time we notice she is doing this their ears are soaking wet.
One last problem we have with Koa and Cooper only is when they are put outside in the backyard and we call them in they do not come in. Koa will stand there or sit there on the deck and look at you and not move an inch, I could call her until the cows come home and she won't budge.
We would love Cesar to come to Canada sometime to help us with these issues, we watch his show all the time and we love it and we love Daddy too and watching him. We try to use the techniques Cesar shows but they just aren't working for us. Please Cesar help us out up here to the north!!!!
Stephanie, Cooper, Koa, Lily and Daisy!!

Come to Alaska!
Hello Cesar! Do you think you can help us with stopping our lab mix from barking at the moose and the bears in our back yard? Seriously! If you find yourself in Alaska we would love for you to help us with this one! We have a invisible fence and the moose walk through our yard. If the dog is out he goes crazy and there is no way we can "own" that space! Now when we let him out he patrols the yard and barks and won't listen when we call him. It's scary because the moose will kick him if provoked! Come to Alaska!!!
Our dog Hurley - food fiend
Dear Cesar,
I have a Cocker Spaniel named Hurley. I love him so much. He is so close to my husband and I, we spoil him so much. For the most part he is a good dog. He is good on the leash, he hardly barks, is really friendly with other people and dogs; he is a real companion. Our problem is that sometimes he snaps at us; usually when food is involved. Sometimes he snaps when he is sleeping and we move him - my husband likes to cuddle with Hurley at night. But before the "incident", this snappiness was minor. Hurley would growl, and then bark and "nip" in a quick motion, if we took food away, or if we moved him when he was sleeping. But last night I gave Hurley a steak bone, and when I didn't want him to chock on it, I tried to take it away. He bit me. Hard. I have a huge cut the length of my finger and a huge bruise on my arm. This was the first time he ever actually bit us. I thought it was just because I gave him something so tastey... red meat... but then today, I tried to give him a treat, and i wanted to "own the food" and show him that it was a "gift" for Hurley, and that I am dominant, and I am giving him something, but it is really mine. So I told him to give it back to me, and he didn'\t, and then he snapped again. I am worried that this is going to get progressingly worse. We feed him people food all the time and he has a bad begging habbit. have we damaged our dog? can we save him from "owning" the food in the house?
Any advice, from anyone, would be greatful
thanks.

10 Year Old Rottweiller in Dire and Abusive Situation!
Dear Cesar,
I know a beautiful Rottweiler (Corona) who is having a terrible life. She is 10 years old and has been tied up her entire life in a backyard. Her owners couldn't handle her on a walk so they stopped walking her. she is not allowed in the house because she has too much energy. she is filthy because she developed a fear of water since the owners would throw water on her when misbehaving. worst of all for the past year the owners have actually moved out of the house and left Corona still tied in the old back yard. the original house was in behind the grandparents house, so the grandparents keep an eye on her but still no exercise, discipline or even affection! the owner comes twice a day to feed her and that is all the attention she receives. Corona is a beautiful and loving dog but clearly cannot be balanced. she is desperate for affection, she cant look a person in the eye, she looks all around her instead. she barks for protection but is not at all agressive. calling the SPCA seems out of the question to me because moving her from this situation to a kennel where no one will adopt her and ending up euthanized would be terrible. i can't adopt her because my apartment doesnt' allow dogs and also she belongs to my boyfriend's uncle and the family politics would get quite complicated if i intervened. the problem is that the owners have absolutely no idea that they are abusing Corona. they claim to love her and are sentimental about her, but they obviously think of her as "just a dog." Please help, this breaks my heart and i really don't know what to do about it. I can't be seen to be involved in any rescue due to the family reasons. Would Cesar consider her for his pack? Are there any other options?
Thank you for listening, i hope someone can help Corona
I don't know of how else to contact Cesar so I hope that this might reach him
Help me with my Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Hi Cesar,
I am a massive fan. I would love for you to come to England so I can meet you and so you can help me with my dog hands on as I am doing what you do on your programmes and in your book but I just cant get my energy calm and assertive! I really need help as I love taking Molly for her walks but when I take her off the lead she no longer listens to me. We have started changing how we walk her for example we now leave the house in front of her and enter the park in front of her. I can control her on the lead as I can do your famous touch and make the noise as well to snap her out the zone but as soon as she is off the lead she will run the length of the field to get to a child/adult/dog/bird etc pretty much anything that attracts her eye and as she is off the lead I cant get to her to touch her and snap her out of it and she doesnt react to my voice. I know she thinks she is the pack leader and that is why she isnt listening to me but as I said I cant get my energy right and then dont know what to do to control her when I cant get hold of her.
She also gets really excited when people visit and I have tried calming her down before letting her approach my guests but as soon as she is let go she just goes mad again jumping up and wanting fuss.
Thirdly when we wake up fist thing in the morning Molly will sit and howl, bark and whine until we let her out of the kitchen which is where she sleeps when we are out or when we go to bed at night. I have tried correcting these issues myself with your programme and book but I just cant do it without your help.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME.

NEED HELP!
I am sure Cesar receives thousands of requests, but worth a try!
I have four dogs and one cat. I do not know where to turn anymore, I have read many books, watch many episodes and have gone to local trainers. I have a 3 year old Chihuahua that has fear-aggression, which I was told by a behaviourist 2 years ago. Well he has made some progress, but we still can not trust him to be around strangers, including children and even some other dogs. We do have a cage muzzle for him, as we do not want him to bite anyone, but it would be so nice to be able to go places without have the fear that he will bite. I try to stay calm and assertive, the word "try: is the key in that last paragraph! We also have a 6 month old chihuahua and she is starting to pick up on our other chihuahua's behaviours and constantly harrases the cat. I socialize her and have started obedience classes, but going for walks is herendous. I have 2 chihuahuas that bark at everything and everyone. They will also bark at people walk on the street while they look out the window. They both have major issues with peeing and pooping in the house. I am constantly cleaning up after them and feel that I have tried it all to get them to go only outside.
We also recently rescued an Ibizan Hound! He is 3 years old. He is wonderful, but we are his fourth home. He has seperation anxiety and recently has peed in the house, while we were there. He has gotten into our greyhounds glucosamine and ate almost all of them and has managed to cut his lip on the bottle trying to get to them. Looking to put him in a doggy day camp while we are at work, but really would like to fix the issues instead of taking them somewhere else and masking the issues. Our fourth dog is our greyhound, we do not have issues with her, she is 9 years old has incontinence, arthritis and hyperthyroidism. She is wonderful, but you can feel she is stressed with everything going on around her. My better half has told me soon if this contines there will be no more dogs, that makes me cry as how can someone give up their pet! They are a part of our household and I really need plenty of help to make our household a more relaxed and peaceful one again!
Cesar please come to Canada! Don't know where to turn anymore.
Sake the dog that would be happy wild
I am a military spouse who lives in Okinawa, Japan. My first priority when I moved here was to get a dog. We picked out a puppy from the pound and brought her home. From the start we knew she was going to be work because she's incredibly timid and fearful. My first goal was to just try and give her some self esteem. I took her for a long walk everyday and let her play in the yard for along time at night. While she has somewhat warmed up to me she is still terrified of everyone else including my husband. She also jumps at any noise; things falling, cars passing on the street and even the sound of moving around the house. I know that she is not happy being so scared but I don't know what else to do and I honestly think that if she could, she would run away to be a wild dog. She is an Oki-Mix which is what we call the mutts that are everywhere on the island. She's is too afraid or confused to gain anything from obedience classes and she refuses to come when called no matter what we do; treats, positive reinforcement, etc. She's about nine months now and while I know she's still a puppy I don't want her to stay in this state of constant terror any longer. I know that Okinawa is far away but we need help. I'm sure that there would be other military families who would be interested as well.
Again for Canadians!!!
Hey there,
I think it would be a good idea to maybe film some episodes in Canada. "The Dog Whisperer: Canada" or something more creative. We are in dying need of having someone like Cesar come here. It is nearly impossible to find a dog trainer who is actually compassionate and believes that any dog can change. I have a 4 year old pitbull/lab mix. When I first got him, he was from an abusive home. He was very timid but such a sweetheart. Always excited to see anyone. Never barked, growled or showed ANY signs of aggression. Gradually, he started showing signs of territorial aggression. I obviously was too blind with the whole "my dog is a saint and will do no harm" idea. He has nearly broken the window trying to get at the mailman, lunges at people (not all the time but once in a while) during walks, has even bitten some. I am able to control him somewhat but it is getting out of hand. When he's not caught up in that, he is still the sweet soul I remember getting 3 years ago. Always eager to please and affectionate. I would be devastated if I had to put him down. PLEASE COME TO CANADA!!!

Hello!!
I am wondering if Cesar would ever come to Canada!!??? I live in beautiful British Columbia Canada and my sister has a small Xolo ( a rescue dog from Mexico, who turned out NOT to be hairless) who is aggressive. My sister is in total denial that she has anything to do with the problem. Maya (the xolo) has bitten many people including; neighbours, family members, and even her husband!! To make matters worse, her old dog (a pitt x boxer) had to be put down because of his aggression. Help! I do not want the same fate for Maya, or any other dogs that she may start a fight with.
6 dogs and a donkey!
Hello! My name is Maria Helena Fittipaldi, O live on a small farm in Brazil near the big city of Sao Paulo. I have six dogs, 2 male Labs, 1 male St. Bernard, 1 male Great Dane, 1 male street special and 1 female street special. They are all castrated. I also have a young male donkey. He has been living with us for almost a year. I think he thinks he is a dog! He plays with the dogs, walks and during the day lies down with them. The problem is that he doesn't know he is big and sometimes he is picking them up by the scruff of the neck which annoys them! We all love him and I don't want to get rid of him! I have tried to get the dogs to stay away from him. They have already given him a few bites and he has a couple of scars.
What do you think I should do?
I would also like to know if there is a chance of you coming to Brazil! You have MANY fans here and we would love to have you visit. I know there is a fee and I would be pleased to organize your trip to this wonderful country! Best regards Maria Helena
HELP
Is it okay to send in a submission even if you are not accepting submissions from my area? Will you ever be visiting the Colorado area? You would love CO Cesar. I am in desperate need of help with my dog. He is high anxiety and also aggressive, often in the red zone when strangers either walk by or enter our home. He is also a bit aggressive toward children. I am worried that we cannot keep up with him and something might happen and we may lose him. It would break my heart knowing that I could have saved him by fixing his problems but I don't know how. Please, please come to Colorado. I know me and many others would make for great shows.
Thank you,
Margo

Autistic Young Man
Hi Carol,
I am so glad you placed this URGENT PlEA! I also saw the news on channel 8 (KFMB. I also sent a request to Cesar. I said that we need a Hero and Cesar is the only one that can help this young man. I gave them all the information and I just hope that they Cesar is told. Who knows what goes on in an office. Sometimes the CEO doesn't know what needs to be done because no one tells the story. I am sure that Cesar doesn't see these emails, and is dependant on his people to tell him.
I don't know what else to do?
