Tiny Yorkie Is World’s Smallest Working Dog
Lucy, a tiny micro Yorkshire Terrier, was on her way to an animal shelter, when she was rescued by Sally Leone Montufar. At only 5.7 inches high and 2.5 pounds, Lucy recently was certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s smallest working dog. Lucy works with Leashes of Love and provides her special brand of therapy at nursing homes, hospitals, and schools near her New Jersey home. Lucy proves you’re never too small to do big things.
