10 Celebrity Dog Dads That Chose To Adopt

Celebrities – they’re just like us. Well, maybe not entirely, but there are some out there who chose to adopt pets, rather than purchase them. And this always makes us happy since we know that the best thing you can do is to adopt rather than shop for a pet.

And it’s not just female celebrities who are adopting, it’s also plenty of male celebrities that have shown their softer sides by adopting dogs. And based on the pictures, we can only imagine that they couldn’t be happier with their decisions to save a life and welcome a new best friend into their homes.

So, below is a list of 10 male celebrities who are famously happy dog dads:

10. LIEV SCHREIBER

Schreiber was first introduced to his two adopted dogs, Woody and Willow, while backstage at “Live with Kelly & Ryan”. The actor immediately fell in love with the pups who’d been displaced by Hurricane Harvey, and he didn’t hesitate to welcome them into his home and heart.

As this hot dog-dad explained to ABC News regarding his dog Baxter, “I saw this big, dumb-looking retriever staring up at me. I whispered to him, ‘Hey, let’s get the hell out of here.’ And he jumped up, like he spoke English fluently. He came with me, he jumped in the car, and we’ve been best buddies ever since.”
