Cats and dogs have a very interesting dynamic. No matter how large the dog is, the cat is always the one in charge. I have a friend who had a large German Shepherd dog, but it was her tiny little calico that called the shots in that relationship. The same was true with my own pets growing up. Our dog was always being bossed around by our two cats. Whatever they wanted, whether it was her bed, her food, or her attention, she could never deny their requests.

Another quirky thing about cats is their ability to sleep in the strangest places. We’ve probably all seen the online videos and pictures of cats napping in non-conventional spots such as boxes, fruit bowls, atop cupboards, etc. But the video below shows that one cat decided the best napping spot in the entire home is right on top of his canine buddy. That is one lucky dog to have a cat take such a shine. 

In the video, you see the sleeping Husky on the couch napping soundly. A cat then appears in the frame. Cue the iconic score from Jaws. Following a brief moment of debate, the cat hops up onto the couch and then begins to knead into his doggie friend. Clearly this cat loves this dog to want to be that close. After getting comfy, the cat then settles down for a nap right on top of his dog. How cute is that?
