Dog Celebrates Her Birthday With A Custom Cake

We all love a good birthday cake. For my 30th birthday, I decided to order myself a specialty unicorn cake in order to celebrate my big milestone. But it isn’t just humans who like to make a fuss over birthdays with cake. Our pets are often roped into the celebrations as well.

Our dogs age just like we do. It makes sense that they should get to enjoy a little birthday cake of their own as well. Many of us dog owners are probably guilty of ordering a cake or some sort of birthday treat for our beloved pooches. But some of us might not always advertise it online because we might feel a little silly – not everyone understands the special bond that exists between people and their dogs.

Reddit

One Reddit user decided to upload an adorable picture of the birthday cake that sent his dog, Lucy, into overdrive. The Redditor shared his concerns saying, “I thought ordering my dog a birthday cake would be a waste of money…Her reaction was worth every penny.”

But he was happily mistaken. As the photo proved, Lucy was delighted with her cake. Her face says it all – pure joy and excitement. She was a lucky little birthday girl! The post touched a lot of people as it ended up receiving more than 48,000 upvotes on the site. What do you think of the birthday cake and this sweet girl’s reaction to her surprise?
