Puppy And Foal Cuddle Together Before Taking A Nap

Animal friendships are as diverse and unique as animals themselves. While we often don’t think of our pets as being particularly emotional or capable of a wide display of affection but that is simply not true. Our pets definitely have a much wider emotional capacity than we give them credit for.

Maybe its ego but a lot of us forget that our pets are more than capable of forming lasting relationships with other beings outside of us humans. Our pets can easily become close friends with other animals the same way that they deeply bond with us. And it’s these unlikely animal friendships that are fascinating reminders to us that our pets can form meaningful connections with others.

And a wonderfully wholesome example of these types of bonds is the precious video of a puppy and baby horse sharing a nap together. Both dogs and horses are very sensitive animals who love to be part of a group. Therefore it makes perfect sense that they would naturally gravitate towards one another and strike up a friendship.

These two little babies definitely show that they’re more than happy to enjoy each other’s company while also catching up on some sleep.
