Stray Dog Goes To The Same Car Wash Every Week To Use The ‘Automatic Petting Machine’

Sometimes when you want something, you need to get creative in how you’re going to get it. This often comes with a bit of improvisation and outside-the-box thinking. This stray dog in Turkey seemed to demonstrate that kind of cleverness when she figured out a way to give herself a bath.

Unfortunately, not all dogs have homes. For the strays, life on the street can sometimes come with its challenges. Besides needing to figure out ways of accessing basic necessities like food and water, stray dogs also need to make up for time spent on their own. Dogs are social by nature, they love a good rub down by people.

Shopkeepers at a gas station in the western province of Izmir filmed the clever dog as she waited to use the car wash. Apparently, it’s a habit of hers a few times a week. While Linda obviously doesn’t have a car of her own, what the intelligent pooch does, is she waits in line to use the automatic bristles of the car wash. In the video, Linda can be seen strategically maneuvering herself amongst the automated brush, getting herself all nice and squeaky clean. Once she’s had enough, she shakes herself off and is on her way.

That is one clever pooch. Check out the footage below:
